About Me

Dana Kinlaw is an award-winning Art Director with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, specializing in motion graphics, VFX, and photography. His creative journey began as a freelance motion designer, which led to a role at Comedy Central. After five years of honing his craft there, he transitioned to BET Networks, where he played a pivotal role in the network’s on-air rebrand.

At BET, Dana's creative vision flourished. As Senior Art Director, he led high-profile promo campaigns, pitches, and major events like the Upfront, BET Awards, and Hip Hop Awards, as well as overseeing some of the network's record-breaking original programming. Dana’s passion for storytelling through visuals eventually took him to Nickelodeon, where he spearheaded the 2024 Kids' Choice Awards and celebrated SpongeBob's 25th Anniversary in style.

Despite managing large-scale projects, Dana stays hands-on in every aspect of his work, continuously refining his skills in design, animation, and composition. Alongside his professional pursuits, he follows his personal passion for photography, always finding new ways to see the world through a creative lens.
